Vision
To build a successful AI powered cross-platform application that makes interaction with local governments seamless, enhance sense of community and positive competition amongst towns.
Our Story
One morning in our suburban Massachusetts neighborhood, we woke up to an unexpected problem—our water supply was completely shut off. With no prior notice, we scrambled to figure out what was happening.
As we stepped outside, we saw our neighbors doing the same, searching for answers. It wasn’t until we spotted a small notice taped to a mailbox that we learned the town had scheduled maintenance, and the water would be off for the rest of the day.
That moment sparked a realization: communication between local governments and residents doesn’t need to be this difficult—it just needs an upgrade.
If a town in one of America’s leading tech hubs is still relying on paper notices, what does that say about the tools available nationwide? In a world where information is instant, residents shouldn’t be the last to know about important updates.
As working professionals and parents of two kids, we get it—most people don’t have time to dig through town websites or attend meetings just to stay informed. And many are left wondering: How do I engage? Who represents me? How can I be heard?
We knew we weren’t alone. More and more residents—families, professionals, and engaged citizens—are looking for a smarter, easier way to stay connected with their communities.
We also realize how hard local governments are working, often with limited resources. Their efforts are evident while managing elections, local events and town meetings.
We're here to complement those efforts with modern solutions that respects time, reduce friction, and strengthen the connection between your office and the community.
That’s why we created Borough—a platform designed to help local governments and residents communicate with clarity, speed, and trust. Our goal is simple: make civic engagement effortless, transparent, and built for how people live today.
Borough delivers real-time updates, simplifies public feedback, and helps residents understand local decisions—all in one place.
Because effective local government isn’t about catching up—it’s about moving forward, together. And that starts with better communication.
